Toy Engineering / Production
With years of experience producing novelty edible confectioneries for children, we had to pay extra attention to the safety and quality of the plastic containers / toys that we use that is part of our finished products to our consumers. Over the years this experience and know-how became extremely valuable, and our customers are requesting us to help them with this service in order to engineer and produce toys that are both safe and fun at the same time. The following is a typical process flow working with our customers on their plastic / toy projects:
- We start a brain storming or ideation session with our customer.
- We collaborate with customer to make first sculpt sample for detailed figurines or straight to Pro/Engineer files for more mechanical toys
- Our engineers will convene to discuss the feasibility of the design, ensure product safety, improve injection mold design as well as improve on the plastic molding efficiencies
- Start making the steel mold base and / or beryllium copper mold core and cavities
- Test shot on the mold and make adjustments
- Mold polishing to ensure a nice gloss on the products
- Final test shot and our quality assurance team will step in to test for all safety requirements depending on the age grade of the toys
- Production begins and our merchandising team will start to follow up on daily outputs to ensure on-time deliveries
- Our Quality Control team will do on-line inspections as well as final product random sampling to ensure quality and safety
